Hamish Gee, the Managing Director of Century 21 Wanaka, brings a wealth of expertise to the role. With a robust background in Accounting and Finance, Hamish has spent the past two years immersed in the Wanaka real estate market, managing administration, sales, and finance functions. His most recent position was in a General Management capacity, where he honed his skills in operations, financial management, team leadership, and compliance.

Before his real estate career, Hamish managed the Asian trading hours for a global high-frequency trading firm in Queenstown, a role that required a deep understanding of the macroeconomic environment both domestically and globally. Additionally, he worked in Treasury at Air New Zealand, managing cash flow and interest rate hedging. These roles equipped him with a keen insight into financial markets and strategic financial planning.

Personal and Professional Journey

Hamish and his partner Katie relocated to the Queenstown Lakes area just before the COVID-19 pandemic. They have since developed a profound appreciation for the region's natural beauty and outdoor activities. In their free time, they enjoy biking, hiking, diving, fishing, golfing, and exploring all that the outdoors has to offer.
